The Genesis
Founded in 2024 by a group of energetic students, Developers Association Jhapa was born out of a shared passion for technology and a commitment to fostering a local tech ecosystem.
What started as a late-night discussion between three aspiring engineers has evolved into a movement. We aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry excellence, providing a platform for the next generation of innovators in our region.

Founding Timeline
The Spark
Jan 2024
The first meeting of 15 students at a local cafe in Birtamode, deciding to form an association.
First Meetup
March 2024
Hosted our inaugural 'Dev-Talk Jhapa' with 50+ attendees and 3 guest speakers from the industry.
Open Source Launch
June 2024
Initiated the first community-driven project: an open-source library for local developers.
Present Day
Today
Growing into a robust network of 200+ members and looking forward to our first regional hackathon.
